Terrazza Builders: The Renovation Process
Consultation
The first step in any renovation is a consultation to outline in broad strokes the client’s goal of the project being contemplated. Terrazza Builders takes a pragmatic approach to each individual project. We strive to balance the aesthetic aspects of a design concept within budgetary realities.
Planning
With a preliminary concept and rough budget developed, the renovation can move into a more comprehensive planning phase that will refine the design, leading to completion of working drawings suitable for a building permit application. At this stage the budget will also be finalized, and a project timeline developed.
assessment & safety
Following the permit approval process with the appropriate municipal body, construction can begin. All work is undertaken with strict adherence to safety guidelines. A pre-renovation assessment is conducted to review any potential issues.
communication
We keep our clients informed during every step of the process. During the course of construction as improvements to the plan become apparent or needed, Terrazza Builders will work with the client to prioritize and incorporate these changes wherever possible.
